HOUDINI SUPERHERO SET WITH 5 SIGNED CARDS
I have managed to assemble 3 “Houdini: The World’s First Superhero” sets with all 4 signed cards. Also included in the set is a signed card from the publisher for a total of 5 signed cards. Just one of these signed cards just sold moments ago on Ebay for $7.00. Now here’s the deal, you get the complete set of cards, all the promo cards (I have seen these on Ebay for $13.00) and the 5 signed cards for a total of 49 cards. Once these 3 sets are sold, that will be it trying to assemble them again.
ORIGINAL HOUDINI STAMP WITH BONUS HOUDINI CARD
This is an original unused Houdini stamp from 1951 to commemorate the 25th anniversary of Houdini’s death. The stamp was issued for the combined IBM and SAM convention in New York City. The stamp is slightly smaller than a business card.
Also included in this lot is a promo card for “ HOUDINI: THE WORLD’S FIRST SUPERHERO”.
Both items would be a nice addition to any Houdini or magic ephemera collection.
UNUSED HOUDINI BEER LABEL 1980'S
An unused label for Houdini Beer, circa 1980′s. The label has Houdini in a classic pose and is quite colorful. The approximate size of the label is about 4 inches square. The beer has long been out of production, perhaps 25 years or more.
1929 MODERN MECHANICS WITH HOUDINI ON THE COVER
1929 Modern Mechanics with Houdini on the cover. The approximately eight page article was trying to expose Houdini’s methods of his miracles, but failed miserably. There are images of Houdini to try explain the author’s idea on how the illusions worked. There are also many articles of interest including Lindbergh, Glenn Curtiss( who was friends with Houdini) and psoibly the first car seat for an infant. The overall condition is good. There is much wear to the covers and spine. This 80+ year old was never intended to survive this long and it is luck it has. There is also a Tarbell ad and other magic related items in the magazine.
HOUDINI TRUNK LABEL - UNUSED
Here is a Houdini item you don’t see everyday and better yet, you have a chance to own. This is an unused Houdini trunk label. The size of the piece is 4 1/2″ x 11″. Condition is fine. HOUDINI SHOW WITH HARDEEN INK BLOTTER
This is an ink blotter to advertise the “HOUDINI SHOW” presented by Hardeen. This piece is from circa 1930′s. Also with the show is Princess Yvonne “The Mystery Girl”. She was a mind reader. HOUDINI GIVE-A-WAY?
About 10 years ago, this piece surfaced on eBay. I bought it as a real piece, but over the years, I always wondered about it. Was it a fantasy piece, a rip-off or was it legit ?
The piece looks-like it is old. It could have been printed on old stock. It could be old stock with the embossed flag and inscription, then Harry Houdini printed on afterwards. This is my feeling of what it is. I know Houdini used the American flag on his stationery during the war years, so that must be considered too.
Now that you know my feelings about it, if you want it, the price is $20.00 delivered in the USA.
HOUDINI TOKEN - COMPLETE SET
Houdini Token – This is a complete set of The Franklin Mint Special Commemorative Issues of 1974 – First Edition Proofs. In the set contains the elusive Harry Houdini medal. Here are just some of the others in the set:

The price for the complete set is $149.00. The set weighs a ton! With the asking price on the net as high as $60.00 just for the Houdini medal, the whole set is a winner. It works out to a little more than $4.00 per medal, including the Houdini medal.
FOUR HOUDINI POSTCARDS
In this lot there are four Houdini postcards from an Appleton museum. I don’t even know if the museum exists anymore after many of the founding members, me included, left their membership years back. Nothing like biting the hand that feeds you. Well, these postcards are still here. And I like to change that. The cards are clear and sharp, it’s just my poor scan that makes them look blurry.
HOUDINI TONY CURTIS RARE MOVIE PROMOTION PIECE
Here’s a very rare, original piece that you don’t see everyday. It’s an advertising piece for the 1953 movie “HOUDINI” with Tony Curtis and Janet Leigh. It is printed on heavy stock. To me, it looks-like a ink blotter for fountain pens. The printed side is very clear and sharp, it’s just hard to scan and just looks grainy. Please click on the photo. The reverse side is blank and unused.
The condition of this great piece is very fine. It’s in amazing condition as it is 60 years old and meant to used and thrown out. The approximate size is 11″ X 4″. Please click on the photo or the title above for a larger image of the photo.
