What I would like to do with this site is to share some of my Houdini collection and experiences with you. I will be posting items from my collection with some information about the item that I have gathered. Hopefully it will make an addition for the Houdini collectors and historians down the road. Speaking of down the road, I will be adding a Houdini blog (magic too) to the site. Please keep you eyes open for that. If you like what you see on the site, want to see something put on the site or deleted, please drop me a line.
I have worked on most the Houdini documentaries, books and exhibitions over the last 20 plus years. If you need help with your upcoming Houdini or magic project, please drop me a line. I am currently working on two new Houdini books and one major Houdini exhibition that will travel cross-country for two years.
I will also use this site to buy, sell and trade for Houdini items. Over the years I have acquired many duplicates. I will start listing them in the HoudiniHimself store on this site. Many items I will only have one of, some will be one of a kind items, so please keep it in mind. Please take a look at my store and see my latest offerings. Their just might be that piece that you’ve been looking for. If you a looking for soemthing in particular or rare, please let me know. If I don’t have it, I may be able to locate it for you.
I am looking to buy or trade for Houdini items. I am interested in mostly pre-1930 material. Some of the items I’m looking for are letters, photos, programs, pitchbooks, posters and any Houdini ephemra. I am also looking for Hardeen, Bess Houdini and other family items. Houdini imitators and escape artists, pre-1940, are also on my want list. I do not want or need handcuffs or any other hardware.
If you a looking for something in particular or a rare Houdini or magic item, please let me know. If I don’t have it, I may be able to locate it for you.
Best Always,
Kevin Connolly
